Coaching and raising awareness

Coaching and raising awareness

One of the most common misconceptions about coaching is categorizing it as a helping profession. However, I firmly believe that coaching is more accurately described as a profession of raising awareness. A coach’s role extends beyond support; it’s about enhancing self-awareness, clarifying goals, and uncovering the beliefs and patterns that shape your life.

đź’ˇ What is really happening that makes me say that coaching is more about raising awareness than helping?

🔎 Enhancing Self-Awareness – We guide clients to gain deeper insights into their thoughts, emotions, values, and behaviors, paradigms enabling them to make more informed decisions.
🔎 Clarifying Goals and Directions – We help clients focus on what truly matters and map out actionable steps to achieve their objectives.
🔎 Identifying Values and Beliefs – Coaching provides an opportunity to understand what drives you and how to align your actions with your core values. Also how to understand and leave behind your limiting beliefs.
🔎 Facing and Changing Behavior Patterns – We assist clients in recognizing and reshaping behaviors that may be hindering their progress, fostering more effective strategies for success.
🔎 Partnering with the Client – We keep the clients accountable for their goals, decisions, choices. We together co-create the process. The coach is not an all-knowing person and the client is not someone to be supported. It is more about the client having the wisdom to make the right choices and the coach catalyses this process.

đź“Ť Coaching is fundamentally about accompanying individuals towards greater self-awareness, helping them live more consciously and achieve their goals more effectively.
